don't have any incoming class. Woodson needs to get off his old fat as* and recruit.
You don’t sound like a true fan.don't have any incoming class. Woodson needs to get off his old fat as* and recruit.
I find this fact absolutely stupefying. Has this every happened in the history of our program?don't have any incoming class. Woodson needs to get off his old fat as* and recruit.
Amateur hour in Bloomington.don't have any incoming class. Woodson needs to get off his old fat as* and recruit.
Woodson gets his money whether he recruits or wins. He celebrates losses with a glass of wine and a cigar..Amateur hour in Bloomington.

He has signed a spring decommit every year. That doesn't mean he will this year, but there is a pattern thereI find this fact absolutely stupefying. Has this every happened in the history of our program?
I suppose he could sign a spring freshman (like we did MM) who rescinds his commitment to another program.
Has this (is this) happening to another program?
True but is that good recruiting or paying up late?He has signed a spring decommit every year. That doesn't mean he will this year, but there is a pattern there
In August 92, they only had one recruit, Malcolm Simms who was Ohio Player of the Year. In December, after playing scant few minutes, he left the program.I find this fact absolutely stupefying. Has this every happened in the history of our program?

Why the 25 and 26 hs classes are dead for IU as long as woodson is around.Woody is lazy in the recruiting trail. Well known among Indiana coaches
Depends on the recruit. Reneau and Mgbako turned out decent. Bates, perhaps not.True but is that good recruiting or paying up late?
Is he going to import a lot of Italians like on the movie Kicking and Screaming?Cuban is on it, relax.

Remember Chris Rowles (sp)? Now that's some research......If I remember , he was 6'4"? He seemed like a prospect at the time.
Maybe it will be Liam McNeeley. Would be a good spring pickup. He has signed a spring decommit every year. That doesn't mean he will this year, but there is a pattern there
Whatever is decided, its a move of the desperate.True but is that good recruiting or paying up late?
Well, this year he has a spring decommit... so the tables have turned. He has signed a spring decommit every year. That doesn't mean he will this year, but there is a pattern there
To be fair... there are only 32 at large bids. So that is 33 chances IU has to make the tourney and still didn't.The only thing embarrassing is 68 teams make the tournament.
68!
And we weren't even close.
Yes, Sims took the only available scholarship that year as the team had a few guards ahead of him who, unlike the current group of guards, could actually play and shoot…Greg Graham, Pat Graham, Damon Bailey and Todd Leary come to mind. And a “pretty good” 3 man in Calbert Cheaney too.In August 92, they only had one recruit, Malcolm Simms who was Ohio Player of the Year. In December, after playing scant few minutes, he left the program.
I've heard the new theory is that recruiting HS players is too much of a gamble. Let them go to a smaller school, prove themselves there, and then get them via the portal.I find this fact absolutely stupefying. Has this every happened in the history of our program?

IU basketball is now "non-developmental"......its about renting players for a one year stint. "Churn 'em and burn 'em, baby"........maybe we get lucky on a given year. If not......just wait....next year we'll hit the motherload!.....I've heard the new theory is that recruiting HS players is too much of a gamble. Seems to be our MO right now.
You have no idea what is up.Woody is lazy in the recruiting trail. Well known among Indiana coaches
He’s killing it.You have no idea what is up.
Meat first!!Is he going to import a lot of Italians like on the movie Kicking and Screaming?
The scene when all the kids are covered in blood and the other team forfeited. LolMeat first!!
... not necessarily, failure to perform material duties like say, recruiting, might be a for cause firing. he's definitely flirting with it based on reasonable expectations (his own words mostly) ... his annual review should be a blast, they can just do it while golfing. f both of them if he is indeed back, which i doubt can be justified on any level other than corruption/personal interest grounds, which would also be conflict of interest on iu grounds ... for causeWoodson gets his money whether he recruits or wins. He celebrates losses with a glass of wine and a cigar..
Pretty sure Knight didn’t have 7 open scholarships at that point in time.In August 92, they only had one recruit, Malcolm Simms who was Ohio Player of the Year. In December, after playing scant few minutes, he left the program.
That might have been the year when the NCAA went from 15 scholarships to 13.Pretty sure Knight didn’t have 7 open scholarships at that point in time.
Yep. Also IU was preseason #4 in America and coming off a Final Four with a pretty decent coach!!! Woodson will never reach these areas. In August 92, they only had one recruit, Malcolm Simms who was Ohio Player of the Year. In December, after playing scant few minutes, he left the program.
