Actually, things are going well here. Just thought I'd update you guys on my current progress with health, life, etc. Health wise, I'm doing fine. The leukemia is being held in check with a combination of steroids (immunosuppressants) and a drug called cyclophosphamide. I see the hematologist tomorrow to discuss where we go from here because I'm already basically done with the cyclophosphamide treatment b/c it could cause kidney damage etc, and the long term affects of the steroids are not good (osteoperosis (sp?), weight gain). In May I'm flying to Charlottesville to see the guy who first described this cancer, and will get better insight into how things are looking going forward. My dad (who still works in Pharma) is convinced that I need to go on a Jak inhibitor, and it'll be interesting to see what this guy says about that.

The brain tumor is still there, but it's fine. I get another MRI in may, and hopefully we can go to yearly scans after that.

The job thing is moving along. I'm finally applying for new positions (been at the current one 2+ years) and have a phone interview on Friday.

Also have a wedding to go to in early June, and I just picked up a pair of suits for interviews and the wedding, so hopefully the bride has some friends, and I can bang a couple of them.

End rant.

Feel free to rant anytime against cancer.

Bang away at wedding too, sure as heck can only make you feel better.

Premise:

After Life follows Tony, who has a perfect life before his wife dies from a battle with breast cancer. After contemplating suicide, he then decides to live long enough to punish the world for his wife's death by literally saying and doing whatever he wants to. Although he thinks of it as sort of a superpower, the situation turns tricky when everyone around him starts trying to make him a better person again

That looks like it’s pretty funny. I might have to get a new Netflix account just to see it. Funny story with Netflix is my old account got hacked by somebody in Argentina, so I just cancelled it.

Its a journey so its different in episode 1 versus epi 4. You will need to give it a couple of episodes to get into it or you will think its the same ol' Gervis schtick.

The perfect modern meme for socialism - using someone else’s internet stream!

What’s yours is mine.
What’s mine is mine.

Made me think of Jim Carrey's "Liar Liar".

You didn’t have to cancel it to fix that.
