He's learned from Bo since day one... whines over every call... hands in the air... big shock on his face... as if someone just asked him to give up a kidney... whiner!

They guy is a good player but...I'm really surprised Archie didn't send out the student manager to hack the hell out of him down the stretch. He might have the ugliest free throw shot in the BIG. He eventually fouled out but seriously a lot of 2 for 1's or 2 for nones available.
Also wth is the Wiscy coach thinking by not guarding against Romeo going to his right? It's the only direction he goes!

Well, they were trying to guard him to his right.... he's really good to his right and still can get by guys. Super long and uses his length great on drives. I'm fine with him not taking anything but a wide open 3 the rest of the year and get his going to the basket. He'll be a monster when he's hitting 80% of his FTs and 35+% of his 3s. Unfortunately it will be for an NBA team and not the Cream and Crimson.

Romeo did that in HS, his shooting will eventually come back, and yes then he will be almost unguardable

Watched the replay. No one overplayed his right hand or tried to keep him from going right. We were lucky.

Yeah, yeah, yeah and people claim Cody did too. I'm guessing the improved and longer defenders in college and the pros has something to do with it. So, are you saying Romeo doesn't need to work on his shot, cause it sure looks to me like he does. And I think he as a g work ethic and will, but I bet if you asked him, he'd agree he needs to improve there.

He may have some issues in the NBA if at some point he will has to guard a player as quick and physical as Khalil Iverson of Wisconsin. Might that happen?

At least at the press conference after the game he looked pretty ticked that the lost. I like it. Players should hate to lose.

Yes....our guys generally have a blank, bored expression.

He also had intelligent things to say. All of our guys speak in cliches.

The Wisconsin players said that there was a delayed switch that opened up the lane for RL. A rare bonehead play on their part, whoever was at fault.

Langford is far from a finished product and, surprise, a freshman struggled with guarding a smart and savy senior. But, despite that, he's still scoring 18ppg. He's really good, and from what I've seen and heard, he's got the work ethic to improve. Barring injury, he's going to be really good in the NBA, but he'll have his bumps in his first year or two, sure. I hope he has a great and long NBA career and that he represents himself as a Hoosier throughout. I think that's the biggest impact he can have for our program at this point. In direct wins and losses at this point, Race Thompson might have a bigger impact. The crazy world of one and dones.

Seemed like he would retire first before leaving Iowa.

I don’t mind Settles.

He is highly respectful regarding IU during his commentary and often talked about how unbelievable the environment and fans were during games as an opponent.

I am glad we do not have to play against him after this year. Very high BBall IQ. His cleverness and work ethic have taken him a long way.

court awareness, a feel for the game, instinct, are not generally considered as "athletic" qualities, but they are as much as speed, hops, strength, or quicks.

and no more easily acquired by those not possessing them, as speed or strength or quicks or hops.
