ESPN power rankings: IU ranked 11th

Iowa (Sep 4) and Cincinnati (Sep 18) are two early - - and huge - - tests. We should have a pretty good idea after the Cincy game what kind of a team we have.

I know Cincy won't be a gimme but we know we expect to win that game. Hands down. Those first 3 weeks could put us in the drivers seat for any and everything, right out of the gate. Looking WAY ahead, I can guarantee if IU is 7-0 with OSU coming to town, College GameDay will be in Bloomington. Looking at the schedule there aren't really too many marquee games.

These are the biggest contenders:
Alabama vs Tennessee
ND vs USC
Oregon vs UCLA

You would think they could do a little bit of research. All the key incoming guys for IU were incoming players last year.

It's Indiana.....it's Indiana.....

Just like the old EA Sports NCAA Football games, IU's football stadium was always outdated. When the new version of that game comes back in 2022, they will probably still have bleachers on both ends of the field.
