Remembered a game last night that was long ago forgotten in the archives of my declining memory. Living as a freshman in Briscoe during the '89-'90 season we had a huge comeback in the Hall against a heavily favored UM team... I believe we were down around 18 or so at some point. Unfortunately I didn't have tix to that game but remember watching on the giant 13" picture tube TV with 12-13 other dorm mates and screaming uncontrollably... probably all while illegally drowning ourselves in Busch Lite or Old Milwaukee.... Oh those days on the 11th floor of Briscoe!

I remember that game. Chris Reynolds, Calbert Cheaney etc. freshman class. It was a great game and we knew then that freshman class was gonna be special.
Yes. Old Milwaukee. When I was down there in the early 70's. 99 cents a sixpack made it our beer of choice!

small world...my girlfriend at the time (future wife...then future ex) lived in Brisco then and I was in and out of there quite a bit. That season was soph Eric Anderson, Lyndon Jones and the Cheaney/Grahams frosh group.

Oh i always thought what iff Edwards had stayed all four. Picturing him and #40 on opposite sides of the floor in the offense.
