Does anyone else think these sideline interviews are ridiculous?

I appreciate getting the coach’s insight after a timeout but don’t think they should be obligated to talk to a sideline reporter while the game is going on. I’ve watched several games and, surprisingly, I just saw the first coach who was obviously irritated.

Yes just as dumb as the sideline babes running into the football coachers faces two seconds afer a game firing off some pre written question without even giving them two seconds to celebrate or talk to their players at all.

The networks dictate the control room, the room controlling the monetary flow into a myriad of bank accounts. Their biggest marketing success Thursday was the IU cheerleader getting the ball unstuck after the officials couldn't. For a second there, I thought they were going to have the 7' 250 # player stand on the little folding chair. I envisioned a slip and fall lawsuit from Kenn Nunn's office. Those announcers were stumbling all over themselves to get a sideline reporter there to ask her how this noble act made her fe-e-e-e-el. She'll probably be in People Magazine this week with 30K followers by the end of the tournament. Maybe that's what they do when games get really boring for the average viewer. That game was a disaster for everyone "IU" but that cute little cheerleader and her family. I bet she's still on Cloud Nine as we speak. I was hoping when she got the ball out she would toss it over the backboard and though the net. That would have gotten her followers into the millions, along with advertising dollars...a true success story.
