Director of Basketball Administration

Armond Hill. Nice title, but what does it mean? He sits there for 40 minutes, expressionless, with nose stuck in air, making big bucks. Perhaps he contributes more behind the scenes. His bio is not all that impressive. Just Woody's buddy.
Hysterics guys said they think maybe he has a condition that makes him sleepy (narcolepsy?). Maybe his role is to make CMW appear more lively and energetic!

I'm sure there are quite a lot of behind the scenes Admiration details that need to be directed. That sounds facetious...and I meant it to be a little bit. Honestly have no idea what other programs do, but obviously a high major basketball program like Indiana's, is, in many ways, like a decent sized company. Tons of duties and details to manage, outside of just the basketball specific stuff.

A lot of very negative opinions: very few actual facts to support the opinions.

O Big Ten Titles
0 Second Weekend in NCAA Tournament
Large number of defeats by greater than 15 points even at home
Those are facts.
As are Tom Crean started at nuclear winter, made Sweet Sixteen in his fourth season at IU. Yet, Crean was fired in 2017 hmmmm

During the last game, as IU was breaking the huddle after the under 8:00 mark in the first half, the camera was focused on the huddle / bench. I swear that Hill was sleeping...

Doesn't the NCAA severely limit his contact with players as a "director of basketball administration"? Is he even permitted to participate in practices? Does he participate in the team huddles on the floor during timeouts?

He was a first round NBA draft pick and a former Celtics coach, so I have no doubt he knows the principles of the game. But I wonder if he has the same level of knowledge about the day-to-day concerns and physical status of players that might help Woodson during a game that would justify his displacement of a fullblown assistant coach from sitting next to Woodson during games, where an assistant coach's immediate input might do Woodson some good.
