• The front seven has promise on defense. That said, the unit needs to tackle better.
  
• Both Diamont and Cameron saw lots of reps today. But, it’s a big drop to them from Sudfeld.
  
• UAB transfer Jordan Howard ... lacks Tevin Coleman’s burst but is a tough runner between the tackles. He is built to work between the tackles and also is the team’s fastest back.
