PEW says 30% of adults own guns. The percentage is suspected of being underreported.

Household ownership should be higher.

The more threats to ownership like these: the more the fearful will buy guns.

When prices are made unaffordable… the tax is a ‘de facto’ ban, on its face. The ban is prohibited by the second amendment. A general sales tax on all goods does not discriminate against the ownership of a firearm.
