Does it concern you guys that you're only getting Indiana kids? Both of last years recruits were also from Indiana. Leal and Galloway should be good 4 year players but it seems like you're gonna need a lot more than that to get back into the national scene.

It takes a mixture, but anyone who watched IU play last year knows that playing hard, tough-mindedness, and playing smart (high bball IQ) are areas for major improvement. The home-grown kids have traditionally brought those things to the table, along with shooting.

From what I've seen , I like TG better than AL, but the good news is their games really complement each other. I think TG is a little stronger & more athletic & aggressive. Both seem to be willing defenders.
This has to put us in a great position for Lander.
Not a valid question when your premise about last year's class isn't even correct. 2018 class was 5 kids, not 2, and 3 of the 5 were in state. **** off all the way back to the rafters.
Sorry, just going by what 247 said. Brunk is a transfer so not counted. Oh, I'm referring to the 19 class which was finalized last year but even then, Forrester and Langford are gone. So Archie now has 1 kid he's recruited that is from outside Indiana.

Oh, I know, I appreciate getting Kentucky kids but I know we need lots more than them to compete at the highest level.
Kentucky kids aren't even close to the same level that Indiana produces on a normal basis. See Indiana/Kentucky All-Star game results.
The expectations have been lowered. Most IU fans will be more than happy if the program eventually gets to a top 5 conference finish and a berth in the NCAA tournament. The “national scene” is well over the horizon.
