If he stays healthy it will be interesting to see what kind of a following he develops. Washington only won four games last year. His competition was a sophomore and a redshirt freshman.

It also was about knowing DeBoer's offense and the arm he has. The Pac12 will get their eyes opened up playing Washington's offense.
He will do well with DeBoer. Will be fun to watch maybe even bittersweet.
I loved DeBoer in his one year at IU. To think of him as OC and then our new man Witt as DC, and let Allen be D focused, Team focused and be a master recruiter, oh to dream!

I hope Penix has a terrific year at Washington. I will always remember driving to Miami to watch him play his first game in a Hoosier uniform. He was unlike any Hoosier QB in recent memory; super talented and a release as quick as any I've seen in person at the college level. Too bad the injury bug got him so often at IU.
He really was a talented kid. Hope he resets at UW.
I like Penix, but I couldn't take another season of watching every hit wondering if that will take him out for the season. To his defense, it didn't help that we've had horrendous offensive line coaching over the last 6 years - notice I did not say "offensive line" - I said "OFFENSIVE LINE COACHING" and it has been a train wreck.
