This only confirms my thought that he will redshirt this year. The non-athlete recovers enough to regain their activities in 6-9 months. Athletes take a year and sometimes up to 2 years to regain their prior level of comfort running. The main issue being that the injured leg doesn't feel like the uninjured leg while running.This type of injury,might take a good while to be able to run,pivot and jump.
