He's not, as far as I know. That could change this year, obviously, but if it does, I would think it would be only for this year.

It's been said the plan is to take one back this year in the recruiting class. With the news of Ellis not coming back, I wonder if we now take more then 1?

The scholarship backs we have are Shivers, Henderson, Holloman, Lucas and Howland.

After watching Charlie just walk thru (and over, and around) the best HS competition in the state, it just amazes me he looked pretty pedestrian when handed the ball last season. That said, he's still the leading returning rusher we have. Hope he gets a scholly and a chance this year.

I love the kid and would love to see a great story with him too. But sometimes there is a reason he wasn’t being recruited by D1 schools.

But maybe he can be another bruising FB for some 3&1 situations or goal line pounding it in!

It really demonstrates the difference that step up makes. I bet he steps up with this opportunity.

Might be a little late in the Game for that. But is there a kid still out there, that they were talking about bringing in as a Walk On or Preferred Walk On Who would be interested?

Given the depth issues, I think you’ll see several guys get meaningful opportunities, at least early on. We’re obviously a bit thin there.
