Pitching - IU is 11th with a team ERA of 5.66. They were 8th last week with a team ERA of 6.00. Oregon is 1st with an ERA of 3.66.

Fielding - IU is 14th with a fielding percentage of .965. They were 13th last week with a .967 percentage. Rutgers is 1st with .984 percentage.

Actually, we could have taken that series against UCLA if our bats were hot or even somewhat hot, but we couldn't string anything together, and our pitching was good enough to take that series. Yes, our fielding was up and down in that series and while we had the most DPs that I can remember in quite some time, we got back to making too many errors again.

The team is playing itself out of the post season. A lot more was expected. The inconsistencies are not improving.
