Just a quick, maybe not so interesting note. I live in Birmingham, AL and went to a Barons (AA affiliate of the CHISOX) game this evening. Former Hoosier Craig Dedelow plays for Birmingham and was batting a cool .100 coming into the game. Saw him homer and single so that was cool. Also yelled down from my seat to him "Go Hoosiers!" He looked up surprised, met my eyes, and gave me a head nod. Love to root for our guys in the pros.

Ha-ha. Similar to my "interaction" with Kyle Schwarber at a Cubs game in August 2015. During pre-game warmups he was playing catch out in center field. My wife and I stood at the railing overlooking left field and called out to him. No response until I bellowed "Hoo-Hoo-Hoosiers!" He looked in our direction and waved.
Later, he walked in our direction and tossed a ball toward us...well, actually it was to the 11-year-old with glove standing next to us. 😄
