Cool uniforms for Maryland …

I certainly think it is time to get new uniforms that are not so outdated but that is not it. Too loud.

What about the cyan highlights? Its screams of black excellence. Eager to learn when we decide to honor Asians, Hispanics, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, LBGTQ (other letters), women, etc. etc. etc.
Those are hideous. Not sure who works in the Adidas design group, but I’d bet they’d never get a sniff at Nike or Under Armor.
Honor what ever you like, I’m all for it but do we have to look ghey doing it? Does the teal and floral patterns actually mean anything?

Maybe I'm too accepting of things, in general...but I just assumed both the patterns and colors meant something. And it didn't dawn on me to question it?
But since it was questioned...I showed just about the minimum amount of curiosity possible, above not caring at all and/or being willfully ignorant...and clicked on the story that was literally popping up 4 inches away from the box I'm typing in now.
It explained the flowers, colors, etc...
The uniforms are very cool.
I hate that Adidas logo as it is -- the large triangle background is on the current uniforms and it's just too big and out of place.

When i saw the color burst on the back and side, I had a bad flashback to the old Rainbow/dreamsicle Uniforms of the Houston Astros in the mid 70's. Remember those with the orange, yellow, red, and black combination.
Of course if They can shoot better in those Uniforms, I don't care if they wear the old early 1950' Era satin basketball Shorts with the Belt accessory.

Ok, after educating myself, state flower and representing black king and queens. That’s cool, I get that. All for it. But as some stated above, execution is complete fail. They missed the mark.
Sorry for the confusion. I was wondering why we should change the "state" at center court.
BTW, I still call it Assembly Hall. SSAH, nope.
Seems like we are still living in the past. Our uniforms are the same ones we basically wore in 1975. I know tradition but the tradition lately stinks. Let's mix things up a little
Gotcha, I didn't mean change the state literally, just mean modernize the design a bit. Don't want Oregon or Memphis's floor, but a little update or new design would be good

Those uniforms look even worse in the actual game. Random colors like spaghetti drippings or cotton candy drips.
Who designed them? Never mind. I think I know (even though he might not remember anything he has done for a couple decades.
