Now he has a shot to make it in games and play. It is a big step up from playing in high school.

With a name like that he missed his calling,should be on the afternoon soaps.
He had a bad injury early in his junior year that hurt his recruitment. However, he recovered enough to play late that season and had a very good senior year.
I watched that kid run for over two bills at Carmel as an underclassman, including a 90+ yard run. I could never understand why he was so underrecruited.
Carson’s Center Grove teammate, DE Austin Booker, has made the Bears roster. He was a fifth round pick this year.
I think we did go after him in the transfer portal. He ended up at Kansas for his final year.
In another note, I see where his teammate Caden Curry is a backup to starter Jack Sawyer. He still plays a lot but I thought by now he would be a dominate Joey Bosa type guy.
They don’t have “back ups” on OSU’s D Line. They rotate in and out the entire game depending on situations. Curry will play a ton this season. The Bosa’s were complete freaks, guys like that don’t come around that often. Curry is damn good. OSU’s D line is insanely good and deep. I actually thought that once Sawyer and JT announced they were coming back, Curry and/or Kenyatta Jackson would jump in the portal.
I was told by a trusted friend that after his freshman season Curry thought about the portal but his NIL deal at OSU was too good to leave.
O$U has always had a lot, but the last three years have really fired up their donor base.
That’s correct for Steele, but he was referring to Booker, who started at Minnesota then transferred to Kansas for his final year.🙂
