College football is back!

Jaylin Lucas looked good on first FSU drive but don't think he's played since.

He's had one decent run (but nowhere approaching his hype) out of about four carries and one dropped pass... Sound familiar...

In my opinion, every snap he's out there is just taking one away from someone better... Looks like he's fooled Norvell too...

He's just too small. Best used as a return specialist. But he did have a couple fumbles in that role last year.

Because catching is not his forte and he is too small to run between the tackles, defenses will zero in on the fact that it will likely be an off tackle run, pitch, sweep, etc. when he is in the game. He has talent but he is a gadget player with a limited skillset. Definitely not worth the lofty NIL sum he likely got from FSU.

Lucas has talent but the question is what level he needs to play.

Plus you can’t keep him in to block. He can’t slow down anyone….. gotta get him the ball or use him as a distraction

Georgia Tech went from sucking to beating a top ten team in less than two seasons. Yet IU remains perpetually mired in mediocrity.

They won one game vs an unproven team whose QB flopped — we all know preseason rankings can be off. Nice win but GT needs to play some more games to reach a conclusion on them.

We just changed our coach and doubled our NIL. IU is trying. Let’s see how that goes…

Best win in a while. FSU has some problems. They are who most thought they were. GT should do well I think.

Regardless of their 2024 rating, they were still screwed by the play off committee last year.
Just as we were by the Barry Alvarez led stealing of our big ten title in 2020.
My psychiatrist says I should let it go.
I believe the committee just hated the idea of giving Michigan anything. Everyone knew FSU was weaker after the QB injury. Cant give an easier game to UofM.

FSU predictably overrated. GT is solid. RB, D and QB. The kicker looked 45 with kids and a mortgage. GT and ND to the B1G.

GT's talent level....not that great. Very gutsy QB....limited ability to throw and no WRs looked outstanding. but the OL and one of the TBs were outstanding.

I have the feeling a high-powered passing game could have exposed GT's secondary, but FSU's QB is a big slow guy who's not particularly tough and not much of a passer or runner. I am very happy that he was not our portal transfer. FSU's receivers looked very mediocre as well.

FSU's D looked like a very talented unit but the just got punched in the mouth by that OL, TB and OL.

I also thought FSU was badly put-coached on both sides of the ball.

GT is just overall a solid middle ACC team. (6-8 wins)The talk was FSU had the best D line in the country. What probably happened was that was insider talk and the rest just parroted it. FSU looks to be a mid level team also. Certainly not top 25.
