Between Cole Anthony and Jeremiah Francis, the Heels already have a pretty loaded 2019 back-court. I understand the lure and appeal of a program such as UNC, but IU has major minutes -- and maybe a starting spot -- available for Anthony Harris.

It seems more often than not, package deals among "best friends" break down into players going to different schools. This would be a good last commitment unless Watford signs or a grad transfer decides to come here. IOtherwise, believe Archie will leave a spot open for a summer transfer or late commitment.

Shooters don't always come in and pay dividends immediately. That is especially true with freshmen. I don't expect a player to come in and be a 40% shooter, I believe it is more likely that RP, Durham, and Green will show modest improvement. Hunter and Franklin could add to our shooting ability.

I am not as worried about shooting as most. I would look at shot selection and how shooters are squaring up as a point of emphasis. It is easier to catch and shoot when you catch the ball squared up (triple threat) to the basket or coming off a screen and shooting in rhythm.

I expect shooting will improve when we play defense and share the ball with the inside out game that Archie has promoted. Our rough patch last year also had low assist numbers and often poor shot selsection from no ball movement. Players can work on knocking down shots, but there is a lot more to it than the mechanics of the shot.

Jeremiah Francis hasn't played basketball in 2 years due to injury and surgeries.

Anderson has a lot to work on besides shooting. I don't remember him taking any 2 point shots or moves to, or around the basket. Defense is another area he has to develop. I hope he makes a lot of progress before the season starts.

I like Franklin. I am holding back being too optimistic, but I think he will be solid and a four year contributor similar to Durham, Maybe better?

i am more excited about the unknown than the known group that we watched all season that can't shoot and commit mind-numbing unforced turnovers. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Anderson and Franklin have the potential to be good 3pt shooters. Phinisee should improve his 3pt % as well as his shot mechanics look solid.
