that is the first I have heard him say that. We have always contended at IU that we had #1's that could compete but we never had a bench that could play at other B10 schools. This is significant for us because of the rotation that we (and most successful) programs do. I am stoked to hear that. Now, that we are 2 deep, we need to strive for 3 deep like the perrinial power houses. Look what Ohio State demonstrated to the College world last year. I dislike them emmensely but I did marvel at their ability to continue to go to the bench a pull quality guys to play. That Ohio State team last year took a step forward in my opinion from its past.

*Coach also said a successful season this year is a winning season. That is 7 or more wins people. He believes this team has 7 or more wins in it.
*best players were redshirted last year. We get them this year.
*we will have growing pains in secondary but he is confident in what they have. Translates to expect some blown coverage big plays. However, they are coaching and practicing the Secondary as "one" unit now. We may see less confusion because of it.
*Offense will be back where they were years prior. That is what he said and believes.
