I was talking to my niece’s boyfriend over the Christmas holidays. He played for IU a few years back. He told me that Coach Cig called him out of the blue a couple of weeks ago just to check in and let him know that he is interested in all of the former players coming back to visit and taking interest in the program again. He said it was about a 15 minute conversation and he could not have been more impressed with everything coach was saying. He was the backup long snapper. This dude gets it.
