My sentiments exactly. I have driven 100 miles in a blizzard up in Montana just to watch the Hoosiers. I watched the Wat shot on the reservation up there and went crazy while nobody else even knew who IU was. I listened to Jimmy Rayl and the VanArsdales kick ass on a portable radio as a kid. I saw Big George “the baby bull” manhandle opponents at the field house. I saw Isiah and Landon impose their will on UNC. I watched Alford and Smart from a small pizza parlor in the San Joaquin Valley take down the Orangemen of Syracuse. And I was so fortunate to see the last great undefeated team smoke Michigan. I have driven thousands of miles and followed this program for decades. But because of the ineptitude of those who have brought a once feared program to this state I have difficulty watching now. But in the years before RMK things were somewhat bleak. IU took a chance on a relatively unknown young coach and he brought the program back. I believe It can happen again.
