I'd suggest the 1986 victory at Michigan St[sentinel win for Mallory's program]/1987 victory at Ohio St. & the 1987 Michigan game. The bowl game victory over So. Carolina was a nice one also.
Games from the ARE era is mouth-watering. I want to see the Minnesota game from 2000, the Western Michigan game from 1998, and Northwestern game from 2001.
Sadly the '87 Michigan game was not televised. Not sure if film exists or not, though.
A shame there aren't a few more oldies. I know OSU and UM '87 weren't televised, but would be fine seeing highlights from Bill Mallory's show or WTIU's Big Red Football of the time. Wonder if those tapes still exist?
A few OTHERS: Mizzou games of '85-'87; At MSU '86. MSU at IU '91, '93. PU '76, '82, '88; Iowa '93, 2000. Holiday Bowl '79.
They’re going to do more of these classic games. A previous release mentioned the Mallory era.
If we're choosing a game from the ARE era, then that blowout win at Wisky where we ran wild on them would be at the top of my list!
I was there and we could have named the score after halfway through the second quarter.
They’re going to air that one. It’s also on YouTube! (Most of it)
Wisconsin game airs tonight (Facebook). Tomorrow night, CTA is live tweeting along with a viewing of the 2018 UVA monsoon game on twitter.
