First, on a side note, as somebody else mentioned in an earlier thread, being 2 pass plays away from being 2-2 is a hell of a lot better than being 2 pass plays away from being 4-0.
CKW talked about defensive players needing to just do their own job and not trying to make a play for somebody else. Sounds like they are starting to play more team defense.
Also he talked about defensive players being picked to be on the field because the practiced the hardest and were the most focused - even though they might not be the best football player at that position. In the long run this will make everybody better and that will make the defense better.
He also gave kudos the the short and long snappers and some of the members of the scout team.
It would be out of this world if the stars lined up for an IU victory. Realistically, I will be looking for continued improvement and fewer mental lapses. I like how this team is developing. Let's not forget 51-0 in the third quarter this year.
