"I really have a lot of faith in our staff and our team to turn this around. That's a huge challenge. But I know it's going happen. That's the only focus I have. I haven't thought of anything else.''

Holy moly.

Not only is the Reds' 3-19 record the worst start in franchise history, it's also tied for the second-worst record through 22 games in baseball's Modern Era (since 1900), according to ESPN Stats & Information. Only the Baltimore Orioles, who started the season 1-21 in 1988, have had a worse record through 22 games.

Plus it may get worse. The Reds placed second baseman Jonathan India on the injured list, again.

they can be punished for Marge Schott forever and it won't be enough to make me happy

They need to put their change in their left pocket, tie their left shoe in a double knot, turn their hats around, and put a tee behind their left ear. 'Cause they ain't playing baseball.

When she was the owner of the Reds she made an appearance at Buffalo and was pictured with the mascot Buffalo T. Bison. I cracked up when the caption felt it had to identify which one was Marge Schott.

They inducted him into the team's Hall of Fame. I don't think there's much more they can do. He just turned 80. Likely he gets into Cooperstown long after he dies.
