I want to see him win national COY honors, but Kenny Dillingham is going to get some looks. Arizona State was projected to finish last in the Big 12. Instead, they just beat Iowa State for the conference championship and have a 4-seed and a first-round bye in the CFP. Lanning's success at Oregon, too, is a nice story.

The Eddie Robinson COY Award factors in games through conference championships. I don't know what the cut-off is for other groups/organizations that bestow national COY honors.

So proud that our coach is awarded CCOY honors Any bonus he deserving receives this year is offset by increased attendance, increased merchandise sales & increased national attention & media, TV exposure. Thank you, Coach Cignetti & staff.

There is an idiot on X from Arizona claiming their ASU coach should get the award because he was 3-9 last year than says that Cig was 11-1 at JMU last year so what's the big deal. I and others have pointed out to him he is a clown and knows nothing about IU football.
