Will Cignetti stick to his approach of "production over stars", or succumb to chasing stars with his newly found war chest?
I think it's an interesting question...thoughts?

I still think he'll preference production over potential when it comes to filling immediate/starting needs, but I do think you'll start to see the staff target younger guys with some potential who can add depth and develop. Still need to acquire talent to consistently win in this league. That, and I don't think retooling your roster every year is a sustainable method. Cig played it smart this year to build momentum out of the gate, but I don't think we're going to be able to replace 15,16 starters a year and keep the status quo. Will Cignetti stick to his approach of "production over stars", or succumb to chasing stars with his newly found war chest?

He'll probably end up getting higher ranked players but it won't have anything to do with the number of stars following their name.I still think he'll preference production over potential when it comes to filling immediate/starting needs, but I do think you'll start to see the staff target younger guys with some potential who can add depth and develop.
