Career high in points...

While that may be true, Lville was held to mid 60s as a whole.
Has happened to a lot of IU coaches. I believe the kid from Eastern Washington a few years back torched Crean team for around 40. Knight even had a few that did that to his teams.Pardon[Northwestern] reminded me of Dean Garrett a lot

This can indicate that the defense is concentrating on taking (or at least limiting) the opponent's best player(s) out of the game and making someone else beat them. The problem is when the best players still get their points and another player is setting a career high.

I hear ya but I think there is some kind of stat that we've held 6 of our 10 opponents to their lowest ppp of the season, 2 to their second lowest, 1 to their 3rd lowest and the fluke was UC Davis who had one of their best ppp.

Anyway we're tough for teams as a whole to score against regardless of an individual player having a career game.

I'll take it.

Bingo! Force the other team into doing things they are not used to. Make another kid beat you if he can.

Wasn't Shaq something like 17-17 at the line against us? Drove Coach Knight crazy.
