Where the coaches were just as much a part of the focus like Bob Knight and Gene Keady were? (Ok, UNC-Duke with Coach K and Dean Smith). You didn't hear, "It's Illinois vs Northwestern, Lou Henson vs Ricky Byrdsong/Kevin O' Neill" or "Iowa vs Minnesota, Tom Davis vs Clem Haskins". One more, just to see if anyone remembers that this guy was a coach in the Big 10, "Iowa vs Wisconsin, Tom Davis vs Stan Van Gundy".

I know it’s football, but Bo Schembechler and Woody Hayes have to be at or near the top of such a list.

Tom Crean/Tim Miles.

Kelvin Sampson/Brucie Boy.

Never realized there was a rivalry between Crean and Miles. Might not be a popular opinion, but if we move on from Miller at some point, Miles might be worth making a call to. I think with his enthusiasm, he could be a good fit. It looked like he had Nebraska headed in the right direction before they just kind of fizzled out the last few years. I thought we should've put in a call to Steve Lavin also when it looked like Crean wasn't going to get the job done.

The BK /GK rivalry was 90% driven by PU. Geneo was a good coach but not in the same zip code with Knight.

Gene had a 20-19 slight edge over RMK. I don’t know if I’d say “not in the same zip code.”

Keady was overshadowed by Knight’s national post season success.

Head-to-head, virtually even.

No offense but Tim miles can eat a d. Fn dbag. Him allowing his cheerleading squad on the bench a few years ago was embarrassing..just one example
