can he get the team mentally tough enough to win this huge game? I have some serious doubts. It would be classic Woodson to lay an egg and drop this game today. Just win it. I have my doubts. I see a letdown and I see it happening late in the game. Kind of like the senior day game vs Wisconsin, right before 2020 B1G tournament. And I fear the three big lineup will happen at a crucial time causing this.

Yes, we are 2.5 pt favorites at home vs. OSU, this team has won tougher games.
I'll gladly eat crow, but I see OSU wanting this game so much more. All this talk about them being ahead of IU in most brackets being bs, well today is the day to change that. I can't see Woodson getting it done. Hopefully the trio of senior guards want it more with the deficiency they have on the side line.
Win today, the B1G egg dropping at worst would have the Hoosiers in Dayton. Lose today and well, i dont see 2 or 3 wins in the conference tournament. Just get it done today, IU.

This narrative is pretty old. Seems to me we've played some pretty decent games recently. We've already beaten OSU on the road. I don't see us losing to them at home on Senior Day. I predict that we'll win handily.

Winning this game in and of itself won't be enough. To be safely in the NCAA Field, Whoever wins this game needs to make some noise in the Conference Tournament. One win in the tournament probably gets You safely into the Last 4 group. IMO, the loser needs to win at least two games in Tournament to get to the last 4 in, and One of those needs to be a Quad 1.

FanDuel has us at -220 to make the tournament as of this morning. I think we’re pretty safely in with this win unless there is a long list of bid stealers.
Yeah, there is such a glut of content and honesty most of it is mediocre. If I am listening to the radio and I come in mid-segment I am often surprised to learn that the person speaking is the guest interview and not just a decent caller 😅.

Hope you are correct but man this group. I can easily see Woody playing two bigs tons, and our Hoosier seniors feel the pressure and clank. I hope IU wins as I don’t think we dance if we don’t. The Woodson demeanor if there is a senior day might be worse with a win since we’ve heard him and assistant both ask about “last time IU has danced 3 of 4 years”. I know Thorton will be a load. My money went on him, but I will bet against to cover my disappointment.
If we lose it won't be shocking and if it's because of a long stretch of Ballo-Reneau-Mgbako it would be fitting. I would like to know how many teams from the Big Ten have been under .500 in conference play and been to the tournament.
He has had one season with a winning record in league play for a reason. We are 1-4 in our last 5 home games. It’s more likely than not we lose today and it truly should be no surprise to anyone.
And for good reason. They don’t know how to execute the last five minutes of a game. Same goes for the coaching staff. It should not be any surprise to anyone if we lose today. And as far as the tourney goes, sure it would be fun to make it. But this team at best would win one game in the field of 64. At best.

Effort not so much the problem. Horrible shooting including from the free throw line is what is dooming IU. Just poor offense in general. Nothing new.
