That speech was one of the creepiest damn things I've ever seen. He also told a really weird story about a friend of his buying a yacht, and basically bragged about how the guy got sex all the time.
Remember when right wingers went nuts when President Obama had a back to school video telling kids to study hard? They needed a safe place so students wouldn't have to listen to the socialist speak. So quaint.

Don't make me defend him. She needs to just go away and stop taking potshots at him. Her potshots have. Even proven weak and ineffective and she shouldn't be giving him any ammo. She needs to go away.
He can't help it. It is his nature. What can he talk about it except:
1) How great he is
2) How evil his predecessor is
3) How evil his presidential opponent is.
On second thought, 2) and 3) prove that 1) is totally wrong. Trashing one's predecessor w/o provocation is a subhuman thing to do.
He only proves that not only is he a terrible president, but he is a terrible human being.

To him, that is not politics. It is his everyday life. Hatred seems to be his driving force. Did he say he is a Christian?
I have never met/seen anybody who is so full of hatred.
I also wonder the state of mind of American voters.
I know she responded to him once or twice on Twitter. I don't really care about that. I missed whatever else she's been up to.

The guy is a dumpster fire, but being all Billy Badass on him on social media ain't gonna get him out of office, and her criticizing him only galvanizes his base.
I think his base is his base, at this point. If they haven't left him yet, they aren't going to and nothing Hillary or anyone else says is going to move him. I think she's mentioned him a handful of times in 6 months. I'm more concerned about is getting some new leaders vocally involved in leading the party.

Everyone has the right to determine what's decent. I think a person that behaves like Trump is indecent, immoral , corrupt, disgusting, vile, and is very harmful to our country. Whether you agree or anyone else is immaterial to me.
You certainly have a right to believe that but don't need to admonish others to believe the same.
Note that stoll isn't taking on the burden of defending Trump's manifest unfitness and indecency. Instead, he's changing the subject to focus on you. It's a cheap trick.
Take the John Oliver approach. Basically, this is not normal, and don't ever do anything to normalize his behavior. Be constantly vigilant in remembering that this isn't the way things ought to operate.
When he ultimately fires Sessions, and he will, and tries to replace him with someone that'll fire Mueller, we'll see how far the Republican Party goes to "normalize" his behavior. The early returns ain't looking good. But I still have faith that they have a shred of backbone left. Somewhere.

Compared to that, our so-called president has been bashing Mrs. Clinton and ex-President Obama on a monthly, or maybe even weekly, basis. I have never seen a current president bashing his predecessor so frequently. Haven't his parents taught him manners?

I've got a question for you. My cousin who's Caucasian that's married to an African American is an elected Republican official in our city. She's far more conservative than I am. She has 4 children. One was stopped by police after midnight a couple weeks ago. He was frisked and his car was searched. She ripped the City Police publically.
My question is since she's a far right conservative would you ask her if she was associated with the KKK or John Birch Society?
The KKK/John Birch attack was lame, really lame. But, this defense to it is pretty shallow, too. So, your defense against questions about your racial attitudes is something your cousin did?
Kudos to your cousin for speaking up against what she sees as bad behavior regardless of the political winds (I hope she likewise spoke up when she saw bad behavior that didn't involve her own children...it's kind of an easy step when you feel like you are protecting your children.)
But, more importantly, I wish one could say that you spoke up against bad behavior despite the political winds. There just hasn't been much evidence of that here. Maybe that is what leaves you bringing out things your cousin does as evidence of your own personal integrity?
