From Columbus East, his mom was shot in a domestic feud last night apparently by his father who then fled the scene and later took his own life in Indianapolis. Cam has younger sister who I think graduates this year. Very sad situation for the family, his mother was a wonderful lady, successful business in Columbus. Please be in prayer for this family.

Wow. If true, that's incredibly sad. Life has so much to offer and those rewards are worth the risk of the horrible things that could transpire......but situations like this are almost impossible for one to wrap your head around.

Many of my friends knew her and loved her. It’s shocking and brutally sad. Prayers for those kids.

Might be a good for IU alumni to help the sister out with educational assistance if that wouldn't be an illegal benefit to an athlete's family. Knowing an education and room and board were taken care of would give Cam and his sister one less thing to worry about.
