Cal St. Fullerton-IU Game 3: IU up 5-4 with CSF batting T7th. IU grabbed

the lead 3-1 in the 4th after CSF got their first run in the top of that inning. CSF took the lead, 4-3, with a 3-run 5th. But, IU got 2 in the B6th to regain the lead.

Seventh inning stretch time with IU still up 5-4. In the T7th, a CSF...

batter was called out on a batter interference call. If my memory is correct, that's the third one for them in this series. BTW, Bell is on the mound for IU.

IU sticking it to CSF now. Back-to-back doubles by Sowers and Candelosi..

have put IU up 9-4 with a man on 2nd and no outs (still B7th). Each double drove in two runs.

Halstead put them down in order in the 9th as IU sweeps CSF. This..

is a big series sweep for IU against a ranked west coast team. IU is now 13-4.

BTW, IU has a midweek game against Valpo and then opens the B1G..

season at PSU for three this coming weekend.

PSU sux big time. They are 1-13 with a win at home...

against Charleston Southern. Team batting average is .251 and their opponents hit .349 (IU is .293). Team ERA is 7.71 and opponents are 3.75 (IU is 2.49). Rutgers actually has worse stats with only wins over Iona and Old Dominion. I would normally never say this, but PSU should be a sweep.
