David Platt was really good against Ole Miss. shut em down in his two innings. Wish he would have given him one more. Instead brought McCade Brown in who gave up 4 runs. They may need to look at the SS position. Houston struggling out of the gate with offense. Last year, the kid that transferred to Purdue played a little short. Not sure who he might plug in there for a little more offense. Trinkle played 2nd today. Don’t know if he could move to short.
Overall, they’ve been solid. Richardson Durham and Fucci have started very well. Hunter Jesse has been a pleasant surprise. Hopefully Cole Barr picks it up a little bit.
