i made the mistake of clicking on one of these damn articles and now i'm inundated with them. and i keep clicking them so i keep getting more. they hate ole hef, vacillating between hatred and making fun of him. brutal.

I remember when Hugh Hefner was revered.

Nowadays, I don't think anyone under 30 knows who he was.

It was amazing that people watched The Girls Next Door like it was good, clean entertainment. It amazes me that this was ever carried on television even if it was only the E network and produced by Fox Studios. What a sleazy premise for a television show.

I was friends with a real neat old mob lawyer who used to tell me about going to the playboy club here. i think it was like the 3rd or 4th one that opened. closed in the mid seventies and then i think reopened and closed again in the 80s. another time for sure

I don't know. Is it really anything worse than what we have today? The kardashians etc. The other day i was driving with my daughter and she goes "oh this is a good song" and turns it up. The song was about big dick energy. wtf

A neighbor of ours was Hefner's "girlfriend" for a period of time (also Playmate of the month). I think she still lives in the neighborhood (two doors down and across the street) with her parents, but I'm not certain. Family is a bit odd, from what I've heard. She even wrote a book:

Things must not have gone quite right if she is living at home with her parents. I remember when I was at IU a girl named Charlotte used to come to some parties we had and a group of us stood around transfixed one night while watching her role around trying to find her coat on a bed. We were all pleasantly surprised after losing track of her that she emerged as Miss December 1982 and was dating a Chicago Bear :)

One of my past office managers used to be a Hostess at the PB club in Cincinnati.

I can not confirm or deny that she had anything to do with my first divorce.

There was a time in American culture where going to the Playboy club was really a big deal. I went to the Playboy Club in Chicago a couple of times and one time I went with a date who was only 20, too young to be legally admitted but instead of kicking us out the manager gave her a necklace, a couple of other gifts and a free membership. I had never been treated that well when I went with some single guys.

her daughter and some guy named Larry Birkhead got the bulk of the estate, Hes a nobody from Louisville who got a drugged up anna Nicole pregnant, Anna Nicoles daughter got a bunch of the Marshalls money and Birkhead then cashed out when . she died, I see him at the Derby every year Hes living large

A random comedian made a pretty strong case for hoping that his daughter is lesbian based on the common stereotypes.

1. No aggressive dudes to deal with.
2. She'll enjoy sports.
3. She'll go golfing with you.
4. She'll get a full sports scholarship to college.

So, think of these nice benefits if she does end up being attracted to women and embrace it! Lol
