I'm hopeful that Bostad is one of the answers to our problems, but let me play devil's advocate here. If he's this nationally renowned OL coach, why did he bounce from the NFL back to college but didn't coach OL for 6 years, before going back to OL in 2022 at UW where, frankly, they were ok, but not the dominant rushing game they'd been known for (and that slide preceded him moving back to OL)?
Is this a case of us getting a guy who USED to be a top OL coach, but his star is fading now? Does he only do well coaching OL when he has more talent than the other guy? Or did we truly strike it rich on getting someone that can change our fortunes?
