Boilers rolling tonight.....

You absolutely cannot lose to that team, but I’m sure the apologists will say “it’s not a must win”

It's not a must win. But I expect them to win and they should.
Every home game is a must win. We have looked horrible on the road in every game but Nebraska. We must win at home, we can't depend on winning road games. We are at the point where our margin of error is nearly zero. This leopard is not going to change its spots. lose a home game and the odds of us making the Tourney drop quickly.

Not worried about Purdue playing in Assembly Hall. They are as bad on the road as they were good tonight.

Road Teams in the B1G suck.
PU will have to go to IU on the road.

You’re giddy in anticipation of an IU loss yet you think people should believe you’re an IU fan. You’re a lousy anti-IU troll. Are you bitter about flunking out?

Why, seriously, why do you accuse everybody on here of having multiple usernames, not being an IU fan, just because they don't like what they see the program trending towards. How about this? You defend the horrific performances we've seen lately, the inconsistency, the shit recruiting and zero help on the way. I'm not saying your not a fan, but just because MOST of us are not happy and willing to voice it, and you seem to treat this as Facebook and argue or post Archie's lunch or something and not talk about bball, just say we're all really PU/UK fans masquerading. I got news for you, we are not. Most of us want results and accountability 3 years and 10 M in, not another Crean situation, that was what FG set as the goalpost

MOST of us are not happy and willing to WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
fwiw - your posts are not actually about basketball. You state highly subjective opinions with absolutism, often accompanied by hyperbole and angst but never with any reasoning or knowledge.

Regardless, eventually, after the hyperbolic drunken troglodyte like gibberish tantrum, the truth comes out and the real reason appears. Your posts are about how you feel about basketball because that's all you know.

Example the real gist of your whole post summed up in one sentence. You are unhappy.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Go cry to Mommy, Shooter.

The problem is, why do we expect to lose 3 years in? Worry on the road, sure sometimes, but we should never expect to lose at home if someone's doing their job. Does Duke, UK, KU expect to lose at home?

That'd be true, I'd be a whole lot happier if I didn't have to watch my alma mater play shit basketball and the fanbase lower their expectations to hoping to make NCAAT … maybe next year, at least MD actually did deliver on his promises.

BTW, when it's IU and 3.5M a year and the largest recruiting budget in the B10, why should I or anybody feel some sense of altruism towards shit. It should be about how we feel.

You just defended victorbear, so you know about defending horrific performances.

You don’t talk basketball. All you do is vent your emotions in hysterically comical ways. I don’t think you’re anything like “MOST” IU fans. I think most are far more emotionally mature. If most IU fans were like that, I’d be embarrassed to be an IU fan. If you do want to talk basketball, do it and I’ll join you. If you want to post like you have been, I’ll occasionally point out your ridiculously emotional posts. You and posters like victorbear ruin the board.

And I’m sorry about your illness and impending demise.

I hope Purdue got it out of it's system last night. On the bright side it very difficult for a team to duplicate that performance in two consecutive games. That is probably a once in a playing career game. How many 40 minute regulation games do you see where the winning team scores more than 100 points.
My hope is that the shots don't drop early for Purdue and they begin to press and try to accomplish what they did last night.

Yes, I was at it, and it is still haunting me!
That really was a tough loss. Things would look so much better if we'd held on to win. I believe the odds of winning at the 2 minute mark on my ESPN app were over 95 percent. The team has to shake that off and win some games now. I'm still confident they can win every game remaining if they play their game but I'm also confident they could lose every one if they don't. I'm going with winning five, plus or minus one.

For those that don't agree with my opinion you can keep that to yourself. There is way to much back and forth BS on this board over opinions. You have a right to your own opinions and I have a right to mine.

I'm with Aloha. How could anyone believe that victorbear is an IU fan? He does nothing but leave little bear droppings bashing IU basketball all over the forum. He adds NOTHING of value. He NEVER talks basketball. He doesn't even know basketball. Why would you defend him?

For the record I do believe you are an IU fan but I also think you post more about how you feel than anything else. We get you're unhappy and don't need to hear it in every post you make. I'm just giving my impression of your posts here and I'm not looking for an argument about opinions and emotions. ;)

I disagree. Our "must win" games start if we get to 12 losses. Right now we have 7. Every game before that is a "hope we win" on the road and "expect to win" at home.

Last year's NIT squad won in East Lansing, so there are no certain road losses left on our schedule.

There are no 7 loss teams playing "must-win" games on February 8th. I know it sounds dramatic and fun and can serve as a useful rhetorical device if we happen to lose later, but it's just not the case.

We can probably lose one at home, lose all the roadies, and game 1 in the BTT and get in. We'd be 19-13 with maybe 1 bad loss, but probably none, and at least 3 good wins. We wouldn't like our seed, but we'd likely be in. Our overall SOS is going to be really high.

If we get to 13 losses before the BTT we probably have to win one or two to get in.

IU fans FWIW Purdue hasn’t played well on the road. We needed a miracle to win in Evanston the other day. I’m anticipating a close game and a less than cordial welcome-back for Matt Haarms

You guys play a motion offense something our inept coach is clueless on- see Northwestern and Wisconsin and Purdue as examples.

It’s a must win are u freaking serious how blind are u people, u honestly think if we lose to Purdue we will somehow still make the NCAA
Will they? I don't know and neither do you. Can they? Yes. With 9-12 more games, there are literally hundreds of permutations that result in a bid.

You seem to be writing in something close to English but not actually English. Don't know if whatever it is you wrote means you disagree with my opinion or agree with my opinion but I don't care. You can ignore my posts.
