So does he have to sit out since the portal is closed? Or is SFA a step down and he doesn't have to sit? I know they used to be FCS, but I can't keep up with the schools that have moved up these days.

SF Austin is a storied program … he’ll have a better chance to play there than he had in Bloomington with the WR portal haul.
