Nobody had any concrete answers. My guess is that the staff has prospects that they already have relationships with and that the UAB players were not recruited at B1G level.

I can see a lot of schools going after UAB's running back...

Jordan Howard, just a sophomore, ran for almost 1,600 yards and 13 TD's. Presumably will be immediately eligible.

They were a decent team this year and likely have a few players who could play anywhere and probably at least 10-12 other players who could help a team like IU.
