Things have been wild in the Big Ten so far this year so doing a Power Ranking has been pretty difficult. That said, the 2020 picture is beginning to emerge:

1. Ohio State (3-) --
2. Indiana (3-0) +3
3. Northwestern (3-0) +3
4. Wisconsin -1 (1-0) -2
5. Purdue (2-0) +3
6. Maryland (2-1) +8
7. Iowa (1-2) --
8. Michigan (1-2) -4
9. Minnesota (1-2) --
10. Penn State (0-3) -7
11. Rugters (1-2) +2
12. Michigan State (1-2) -1
13. Nebraska (0-2) -3
14. Illinois (0-3) -2

Note: Past Power Rankings have been ‘projected’ but this is more of a resume ranking. In other words this is more of a measure of where teams are right now than where we think they’ll end up.

Scary thing heading into this weekend...Purdue has the longest streak in the Power 5 of being unranked at 13 years. That streak will end if they beat Northwestern this week. I'm really hoping PR and that defense can get it done!

I'd like to see UM knock off Wisc and NU beat PU. That would create a little more separation at the top (I don't mind is NU sticks around as we don't play them...yet anyway. And the hype of 4-0 IU at 4-0 OSU? Unreal!

But that said, upon reflection, would not mind if Tua's brother and MD knock off OSU at home this weekend either!
