Does it make any sense at all to schedule a team to play the late game on Saturday in the Midwest and then have that team travel to the East Coast for the early game on Tuesday?
Just stupid scheduling and it does affect performance.

I was trying to figure out why there were 4 teams that only played one BT game in December. Those early season games can be huge.
The BT just doesn't care. Same reason they scheduled IU agains the Indianapolis Colts. And wait till they add the west coast for Thursday, Saturday games.

And those 4 teams have to play 19 straight conf games after New Years. An OSU buddy is peeved that aren't many home games on the weekend. I think he said only 3 conference home games on a weekend.

The NFL flexed the Colts to Saturday though, so nothing IU did or could have done.

You've just stated a mouthful.

I'm more mad about Minnesota playing Sunday, then not playing again until us on Friday. Meanwhile we play Saturday, then travel to New Jersey Tuesday and then play a rested Minnesota.
