Biden's gun speech

He might actually agree with you. And I might as well.

The thing is, Joe claims he decided after Charlottesville that Trump had to be defeated, and that's why he decided to get into the race. Surveying the other possible Democratic candidates, I think he was correct in believing he had the best possible chance of knocking Trump off. And the truth of the matter is that that's what the voting public decided as well -- Trump had to go, and Joe would be a safe choice.

Time will tell. Things aren't going well, I'll grant you, but I'm not convinced it's the dumpster fire people are trying to make it out to be, and I'm also not convinced all our difficulties are directly attributable to Biden's policies.
What would qualify as a dumpster fire - can you provide some context?

You are right. And that is why politics is so wrong today.

Biden and the Democrats took the entire Trump agenda, and then declared Opposite Day. That’s it! Except for whacko stuff like menstruating men, antI-racism on steroids, and apoplectic climate change, Biden and the Democrats propose nothin. They have screwed up all the important stuff in just 18 months. Trump Opposite Day has given us immigration and border chaos, bulked up crime, out of control inflation, the first domestic energy shortage ever, Russian chaos, and soon to be Chinese and North Korean chaos.

Trump Opposite Day didn’t work so well in Virginia, and according to polling data, its not working well anywhere or with anybody now.

The Biden, Pelosi, Harris, and Schumer brain trust couldn‘t manage a small village let alone the United States. And then you bring in advisors like Blinken, Mayorkas, Granholm. Buttigieg, Yellen, et al and we are royally fooked. And just think, these people are the cream of the Democrat crop.

My brother lived in Germany for a couple of years. To buy a chain saw he tells me that he needed a permit which he could only get after required safety training.

2008 was a dumpster fire. Wife lost her job and health insurance, my salary was cut by 20%, and my out of pocket expenses went through the roof. That's what I call a dumpster fire. YMMV.

What is the difference between these two statements:

Statement 1 - “There are good people on both sides of the issue of removing Confederate statues.”

Statement 2 - “There are good people on both sides of the issue of white supremacy.”

Show your work, Sheldon.

That was your own sh*t , The discussion is about the climate of the whole country that is effecting all of us not just you. Did your personal " dumpster fire'' have anything to do with politics? 2012 was one for me lost health insurance and economy sucked thanks to an election. Funny the 2012 election has a lot in common with the 2020 election.

Yeah we are talking record high gas prices. 40 year highs inflation. Politics are coloring his outlook

Sure they are. Will you admit the same?
No. I won't. There's no sense in supporting stupid people and stupid policies because they wear your jersey. Getting rid of cops is objectively stupid. Attacking an industry without a replacement and then expecting them to help is stupid. Endlessly giving out free shit and not expecting consequences is stupid. Biden and his progressive party are the kids who won student council on a no homework and pizza for lunch everyday platform. Why defend it? They are Fing up the country.

I said it was time for Trump to go too. Things were good under Trump. Then we had a crisis and he showed that he had zero ability to lead. Worse he went into what he perceived to be self preservation mode aligning with stupid interests. Not presidential. Totally divisive. Time for him to go. Now it's time for this congress to go in Nov. We'll see what the two years after bring but so far Biden has been clueless

This adherence to party without reserve is silly

I agree with repealing immunity, stopping the sale of some semi-auto rifles, and raising the age limit.

I don't think Biden understands how eliminating immunity works. He just read the teleprompter. That needs to be explained in order to get traction. Karl Rove doesn't understand it either, or he was being disingenuous.

Federal red flag law is STUPID. We have two federal court houses in in the whole state of Colorado. How in the hell can we apply the red flag law when the courthouse is several hours away? Biden is just talking out his ass (again) on that one.

Gun legislation is important. Too bad clowns like Biden muck it up.
Indiana and Florida both have red flag laws.

Narcissism. The majority of Americans think he's doing a crummy job. Only the most partisan want to hear anything come out of his mouth now.

He teamed up with the cool kids last summer but it turns out they can't play worth a shit. Now he's just a worn out old coach no one listens to. You just want him fired.

And to think he was uncle Joe. Likable old guy most of us thought fondly of just a few years ago. He could have stayed retired. Traveled. Enjoyed life. Been greeted warmly anywhere he went. Now he has nothing but aggravation to deal with and people think he sucks and made their lives harder.
There were many of us who saw through that facade and knew him for the idiotic moron he is.

It's not dementia or even old age that's causing this failed Presidency - It's Joe Bidean and who he's always been. Just go back and look at his record and old speeches (including the ones liberally lifted from other orators). Watch his questioning of Clarence Thomas for Supreme Court Justice.

Then think about Hunter and how The Big Guy calls him the smartest person he knows.

The man has lied about events in his life, been exposed for it, and yet everyone thought he was going to turn some benign Presidet? He sold his soul to the woke crowd and now is their puppet.

I'm not sure the country can survive 4 years of this moron.

Sh*t, Joe was probably talking about the Battle of Charlottesville from the Civil War.

Just what does it take for you to be convinced of a dumpster fire? When its melting the vinyl siding off your trailer?
I guess $5/gallon gas doesn't affect him much.

Well, you got a huge ovation from Lucy…if that tells you anything.
It wasn't just Lucy. Once again Jet posts an attack on me, the normal people ignore it and the wackadoodles "like" it. Rinse and repeat...

Incidentally, I think for any efforts in this area to have a chance to succeed, you've got to start with an audience that cares about fixing the problem. When a group of folks insist on trying to pretend that every issue that they want to point to as the "problem" is somehow uniquely "American" and doesn't exist everywhere else on Earth, I don't see any way to get thru that level of stupidity.

If he had only ran in 2016, he'd have been in his prime and would have defeated Trump easily. We'd never have had to go thru that 4 yrs nightmare, and maybe something like Charlottesville would have been avoided.

Contrary to Pub revisionist history, Obama was extremely popular as his term came to an end and heading into the 2016 election. The Nov 15, 2016 Gallup poll had Obama at 57% approval overall and the week prior to Trump's Inauguration Obama was at 58%, Michelle close to 70, and Biden was at 61%. No way we'd have had to endure Trump had Beau not died and Biden not put running for POTUS on hold while he grieved. Hillary probably wouldn't have run...
It moved me alright... Fortunately, I had plenty of toilet paper.
Where do you clowns come from? Is the link to our board posted on Infowars or Der Sturmer?

Speaking of clowns, you fit the description and seem to especially today.

If only he had run in 2016 at least now we would be rid of the abomination that is Joe Biden. In his prime? LMFAO , his prime was running Cornpop off from the public pool and that Cornpop man, he was a bad dude.

All you do is blow off about Trump. 24X7. Anyone brings up anything about Biden, "but Trump"!

It was so obviously predictable Biden would be a disaster, yet you voted for him anyway. Pathetic.

You and Hickory should get together. With both of your IQs combined, you might break triple digits.

Lmao look at the disaster we have now. You want more Biden?!!!! Hahahahaha.
Well you got DANC and cray to like your post, so I guess all the cool kids love Trump. But on just one issue covid prep, Dem and maybe some GOP Admins would have been better prepared than Trump. Main reason, Trump purposely deflected funds away from pandemic preparedness issues and programs that had been in place since Bush to help fund his wall.

Bush era programs related to public health preparedness didn't change during Obama. So it's almost certain if a member of Obama's Admin had succeeded him they wouldn't have changed them or eliminated them either.

Of course, Obama never anticipated that a lunatic like Trump would ever win in 2016, so the idea that Trump would do something as unbelievably stupid as to eliminate the CDC watchdog on the ground in China never occurred to anyone. We know that Obama went out of his way to try and get thru to incoming Trump Admin people, and some people who were part of the apparatus were so frustrated with Trump's wanton disregard and cavalier approach that they left in protest. There's a paper trail for anyone not blind enough to see for themselves...

And the lack of logic and consistent thought on the part of some on this board never ceases to amaze me...
On the one hand they're convinced that the Chinese Govt is responsible for either a "lab leak" or intentionally unleashing covid on the world. But when you point out to them that either result could only have been possible if the CDC official who had been monitoring exactly that possibility on the ground for the past decade had somehow been removed from the scene, it's as if they're incapable of putting 2+2 together.

I mean if you're convinced that the Chinese are responsible, then do you think it's somehow an unbelievable coincidence that Trump happened to remove the CDC Doctor monitoring the Chinese the summer prior to the fall outbreak of covid? I guess in MAGA world facts no linger exist, but it's a fact that Trump cut off the funds and was basically operating blind from Sept 2019 on.

And another fact, in Oct 2019, the WAPO ran an article stressing the US's poor rating in terms of pandemic preparedness, Biden READ the article and addressed it the next day. That same day while Biden was discussing US preparedness, Trump who can't READ, tweeted about a variety of nonsense, including complaining to Tim Cook about the location of the "home button" on the new iphone.

I mean you'd think at some point logic would kick in, and people who blame China for covid would at least be upset with Trump's actions in the summer of 2019.. I mean if you don't "trust" the Chinese, logic would dictate that the LAST thing you'd is remove the person whose sole job it is to keep an eye on them and keep you informed.

But logic just seems to have no place in MAGA cult, and the folks who like your post are a perfect example of that. So yes on the covid issue alone I think we'd have been a hell of a lot better with someone other than Trump in the WH. There were countries who managed to minimize the disaster of covid, and there's no reason the US shouldn't have been in a better position and known about it sooner. That's the way the system was designed and had worked successfully for the prior decade. Dismantling it to feed his own ego and stroke his base is the kind of stupidity Trump is known for...

This is too long to read. I skimmed and saw MAGA ten times and recognized are up gibberish. Let me make it simple. CDC was off guard. No testing. No mechanism to track and trace. Lab problems. Add novelty and that Biden is a moron and we'd have had the same outcome. Obama is smart. Perhaps he would have found a way to isolate vulnerable groups. Who knows. Calls for speculation and his time was up anyway. Biden is a bumbling fool. He would have done no better. He still can't get tests out. He's a clown
