Don't you think the world of politics needs more young people working in traditional roles as volunteers, getting out the vote, assisting with political campaigns etc.? If that happened, I think the next crop of Presidential candidates might be as much as 10-15 years younger than Biden, Trump, Sanders and Hillary. The behavior and speech of both have given rise to legitimate questions about their cognitive function. Trump is 74 and Biden is 77.
The country is skewing younger. More than 50 percent of Americans are below the age of 40.
Yet we have the choice of these 2. The sort of display Biden put on today is only going to sharpen concerns. Based on their campaign plans and past performances in office, I don't plan on voting for either. But if they are going to wreck the country, it would be good to know that they at least knew what they were doing.

However, if younger voters are content to just go to mass protests and throw insults on message boards, they shouldn't be surprised that the older age groups control the selection of candidates.
Biden never got above low single digits among Democrats the other times he ran. Now he is the run-a-way nominee among a large and somewhat talented Democratic field. The only question is has Biden gotten smarter or have the Democrats gotten
How about time and place? That often is something important in politics. You think Obama would have been President 20 years ago? For that matter, Trump wouldn’t have been President after anyone except for President Obama.
Christians and their values? I have no idea what type of values those kind of Christians have anymore. Certainly nothing I’ve read in the Bible. Most Evangelicals voted for Cruz or Rubio or Jeb I thought. Trump promised pro life Justices which he delivered. Hillary or Joe would appoint pro abortion Justices. That is why. Trump might be full of sins but at least he protects Christians and their values.
That tin foil hat still fitting well?the DNC and their media have become more and more corrupt, and Joe/Jane voter has become stupider and stupider, and the non idiots capable of thinking on their own have no credible option, as are far out numbered by the idiots and sheep.
Joe wasn't doing well this primary either, till MSNBC, CNN, and the DNC social media army, told the idiot sheep the Pubs would win every seat in every contest if communist socialist Bernie were the nominee, and that Bernie would to turn the US into the worst of Russia and Venezuela after replacing Washington's portrait in the White House with Castro's..
this wasn't Fox News pushing this all day every day once things looked bad for Biden, it was MSNBC and CNN and the DNC social media army, doing it.
then the DNC threatened James Clyburn with taking away his majority whip title if he didn't endorse Biden, and Clyburn cared more about his leadership position than he did about about his constituency having accesses to healthcare or higher education. (and neither Clyburn nor Nancy got their leadership positions to begin with without being owned by big money, who controls those positions).
then the DNC held a gun to Klobuchar's, Pete Butt's, and Stoyer's heads, and told them they'd Bernie them too if they didn't drop out the night before super Tues and endorse Biden.
party guns to the heads of politicians matter, even if said politicians were politically more aligned with Bernie, and nobody in history drops out the night before super Tuesday, totally f'ing all their volunteers and staff and supporters up the back side, not to mention their own policies and ambitions, absent a loaded gun to their head.
the DNC money and media base was never going to allow anyone but Biden, any more than they were anyone but Hilary in 16. (which is how we got Trump in office now).

Any argument based on suggesting Biden is incoherent or cognitively challenged can only be designed for the stupid. His opponent is Trump. A "Worst Of" blooper reel of Biden doesn't remotely compare to Trump on the day-to-day in this regards.Cherry picking times when Joe bumbles his words is designed to convince the stupid.
To convince the intelligent up-for-grabs voter, they should be explaining why Joe won’t let the radicals on the left wing heavily influence policy in his administration.
Young and competent is fine. Young, competent, and radical is not.I understand his age. I don’t see anything about his performance today that is a valid concern, or any other time for that matter. His age of course is, which is why he will surround himself with young, competent people, unlike the current administration.,
Once again, I implore you and all like-minded individuals to focus on competence for now, and worry about radical later. Biden is going to have people in his administration that you don't like. That's just the way it is. You just gotta suck it up until we eradicate Trumpism. You're being asked to take one for the team (i.e., Team America), and we appreciate it. I expect it must be difficult. I can't imagine how much I'd hate voting for a competent Republican in order to oust a Democrat Trump. I'd hate all the things he stood for, and I'd look with apprehension at the people I expected him to place in prominent positions.Young and competent is fine. Young, competent, and radical is not.
I think it would be great if they both took an IQ test. Biden seemed to welcome these contests before. He should do it. If Trump chickened out it would say a lot.
Godwin thinks you misunderstand his law. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-...ttesville-virginia-donald-trump-a7892171.html
I think the key point here that people need to recognize is this: No one who is fit to serve should ever suggest that any of the questions on that test are "difficult."So you know that the "IQ test" that Trump bragged about and which amounted to identifying an elephant and the whole person,
woman, man, camera, tv sequence was actually two years ago, right? He's bragging about how he "aced" it now, but he took it 2 yrs ago...
"In this past week’s Sunday interview with Fox New Anchor Chris Wallace, the president stated that the last 5 questions “get very hard.” The section Trump is referring to is focused on “orientation”— things like today’s date, year, month and day of the week, followed by “place” and “city”— pretty basic things, we shall say."

So at the same time, that Trump was taking that "really hard test", Biden was participating in an hour-long CFR seminar discussing an article he co-authored for the Jan/Feb 2018 issue of Foreign Affairs Magazine. Now if you want to claim that Trump showed his "mental acumen" by identifying the elephant and that this 6 min spontaneous answer Biden provided somehow failed to do the same, then frankly I doubt your intelligence. But hey, you do you...

It’s complicated. I’d never vote for trump but I need Biden to make some promises before I vote for him.Once again, I implore you and all like-minded individuals to focus on competence for now, and worry about radical later. Like I said, I do genuinely appreciate your predicament. I am only trying to impress upon you my belief that Trump's particular deficiencies are more important than anything else at the moment. It’s complicated. I’d never vote for trump but I need Biden to make some promises before I vote for him.
I must have been dreaming.... but weren't there 11 Democratic debates within the last year.... most recently just 4.5 months ago. So what the hell are we talking about?
If the Trumpet's only hope is that Biden has mentally deteriorated so significantly in 6 months that he's going to drool all over the debate stage..... well, that seems quite a hope and prayer campaign strategy. God knows they can't run a campaign actually defending the idiot in office and asking for 4 more years of idiocracy... so we're left with this limp noodle argument
I would like to see her on the debate stage. Im either voting for her or leaving the President slot blank
It's enlightening seeing the palpable desperation in some of my conservative brethren here. The ridiculous notion that deeply experienced, extraordinarily well-informed, extremely well-vetted, centrist Joe Biden can't keep up with dynamic and patriotic Christian leader Donald Trump replaces Stormy Daniels in their spank bank. It's the dying gasps of a fever dream that started with "Mexico will pay for it" and is ending somewhere in the neighborhood of "I wish her well" and "inject disinfectants".
Your posts have the stench of desperation. There indeed were but there were also like 10 candidates on the stage so Joe barely had to speak and when he did had several enormous gaffes. He'll have to do a lot more talking this time.

And just this morning Biden was on Dallas morning news talking about border security and how his administration won't be continuing confiscating land for a border wall.
At this point, the only thing that could hurt him in a debate is his shoot-from-the-hip bravado. He definitely seems more than capable of having a high level conversation/debate about policy issues - I just hope he doesn't challenge Trump to a push up contest - or do anything else that the Sean Hannitys and Rush Limbaughs of the world will use to keep the mental health narrative flowing.
If Trump isn't able to devolve the debates into shouting matches and they actually discuss policy and strategy, Trump will look as stupid as he did in that Axios interview. He'll want to cancel the next 1 or 2 debates.
Biden is a light weight. He was a light weight when he was stealing speeches 30 years ago and he is still a lightweight now, a cognitively declined, 78 year old lightweight. There is a reason that the NYT does not want him to debate.

What's incorrect about that statement? You don't think there are significant differences of viewpoints in say, Cuban vs Mexicans? Latino is very broad brush.
Most Evangelicals voted for Cruz or Rubio or Jeb I thought. Trump promised pro life Justices which he delivered. Hillary or Joe would appoint pro abortion Justices. That is why. Trump might be full of sins but at least he protects Christians and their values.
What’s your point?

Lol...so we are just going to rush past that whole "Unlike African Americans" thing huh? Yes, Latinos have diverse opinions, just like any other racial group. The Latino part of the quote was not the issue though.
Pull up all the dumb Trump quotes you guys want. He makes them all of the time, but don't kid yourself into thinking that Biden is not every bit the same kind of moron.
Crazy stopped trying to do better months ago.Guess I'm not sure what the issue is there. Latinos have much greater ties to more recent immigration from a variety of different places... and as such have much wider viewpoints politically than AAs. Basically only thing tying them together is a shared language.
I don't even know what the discussion was about (aren't 14 sec clips just great! )... but if it was politically speaking.. ..Latinos are much more diverse voters than AAs.... not even close. What Biden said was completely accurate.
https://theconversation.com/all-latinos-dont-vote-the-same-way-their-place-of-origin-matters-133600
GWB won 40% of the Latino vote in 2004. A GOP candidate can barely break 10% of the AA vote going back to the 1970s.
Your Twitter grab critique falls on its face. Try to do better
There. Fixed it.Young and competent is fine. Young, competent, and anybody Ranger thinks is a radical is not.
No, he's not quite that bad, but we were warned about him.Trump is not Hitler, anybody making that comparison is a ****ing idiot.
Biden never got above low single digits among Democrats the other times he ran. Now he is the run-a-way nominee among a large and somewhat talented Democratic field. The only question is has Biden gotten smarter or have the Democrats gotten dumber.
Correct. Hitler was far more competent. Trump is more like Mussolini.Trump is not Hitler, anybody making that comparison is a ****ing idiot.

Dumb.I did the research and found the source of Biden's "Latinos are an incrediblly diverse community" remark.
Dumb.
