So a lot of the wingers in this thread seem to want to have their cake and eat it too. Or maybe you guys just can't decide if its better politics to criticize Biden over treating Haitians more severely (the implied racism accusation of this tweet) or whether Biden is being unfair to the Border Patrol, who were just doing their job even if it includes whipping Black Haitians with horse reigns? Which if nothing else is horrible optics..
So which is it, because I'm pretty sure that folks on the left would criticize it as racism and abjectly unfair and different treatment of Black refugees vs the regular South/Central American migrants that regularly appear at the US border. Problem is if you decide to take the route the Tweet you posted takes, then that puts you at odds with other wingers in the thread, as well as both Abbott and even the Orange one himself, who both came out to defend the border patrol horse riders this past weekend. Abbott said he'd hire them to work for Texas, and Trump at his looney tunes rally in GA called them "heroes"...
So you posted the Tweet and apparently want to make the case that Biden is racist for allowing that to happen. Fine, that criticism has been made from plenty of folks on the left.
But Trump says the exact opposite, and says Biden is attacking "innocent agents" who are heroes. Now either the agents' actions are racist or they aren't. You seem to be saying they were, but Trump and others in the thread say otherwise.
So which side of the Pub critique are you playing? The claim that Biden's actions are racist, or the pretty blatantly racist endorsement of the agents' actions by Trump and Abbott in their zeal to attack Biden? Because the Tweet you posted is in direct contradiction to what Trump said at his Sat night rally in GA...

that said, if Pubs weren't so anti immigrant and anti working class, they wouldn't have that worry at all.
and don't kid yourselves Pubs, while most Pub voters may be anti immigrant, the Pub politicians they vote for en mass are very pro immigration, because that's what Wall St wants.
personally, i have no problem with attaching a say 20 yr moratorium on voting rights for all immigrants who don't go through the whole official process as set up, even if they do get granted citizenship on everything else, since giving something up, (voting rights), to get something far far greater in return, (permanent entry into the US, and permanent legality), seems a good tradeoff, if that would enable more immigrants to enter and be legal.
that said, while immigration very much benefits the professional and investor classes economically, it absolutely significantly hurts the working class economically.
that is very unfair to have the working class bear that burden solely on their own, while everyone else benefits.
therefore the working class should get something in return for immigration that helps all the other classes economically, like living minimum wages and medicare for all, if not also more pro US located manufacturing and service industry policies.
we ask why we are so divided on everything.
perhaps it's because everything has politically become so winner take all, with one sides gains coming at the expense of the other side.
it doesn't have to be that way, and the working class could/should get something significant in return for immigration that helps all the other classes economically but them, and significantly hurts them economically.
since so much of immigration backlash is a matter of who's ox has been and is being gored, take a lot of the "goring" part out of the equation, by openly balancing it out with equal pluses for the otherwise working class "gored", and publicly acknowledging that immigration hurts wages and job security for the working class, and therefore to offset the hurt, govt is giving the working class X benefits in return, to offset any losses. (living min wage, medicare for all, serious nationwide rent control).

Wall St doesn't like giving anything up, ever, even to get even more in return..

Speaking of negotiations, it doesn't make sense to me to mix the Ukraine war into what to date has been impossible for Congress to reform immigration laws along with providng the funding necessary to handle the problem.
Quite possibly the worst president of all time.
