Beat Wake Forest!

I agree! Biggest game of the year this weekend and I'm fortunate enough to get to be there! I will yell loud for all of us who won't be there.

I agree, it's a big game. And I think this team's up to it. I think we go in there and beat them, and this is where the corner starts to be turned. We've been on the cusp of it for a while. It's time.

Go Hoosiers!

Would anyone traveling to Wake consider letting two students tag along to the game? One of us has family in Charlotte, and we'd really like to cheer on the Hoosiers with you guys! Obviously an odd request, but two more diehard Hoosiers in Winston Salem!

So glad the Hoosiers are coming to NC. We moved from Indiana to NC a couple of years ago and we miss the tailgates and fun at Memorial each weekend. Rain or shine, count on these two IU grads to be there supporting the HOOOOOOSIERS! I don't think Wake has the offense to keep up with Howard and company tomorrow. IU by 14.

This is another one of those "convergence games" that we seem to get every couple years. Will we step up or lay an egg?

Heck if I know. All I know is that the lovely wife who rocks is grabbing an Upland variety pack from Costco as I type, my IU glasses are already on ice, my jersey is unwashed and smelling of 3 weeks worth of grilling, and I'm posting on an IU football board on a Friday instead of grading.

Is it Saturday yet?

We have been here many times over the years. Quick preseason starts followed by a weak performance in conference play. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but this feels different. After losing to BGSU last year, I didn't have a good feeling going to Mizzou. We pulled an upset and I was suddenly hopeful. Our hopes were dashed with the QB injuries that ruined any chance at a bowl game.

We stand 3-0, facing an opponent that is beatable. With our running game and support of a good QB, I am optimistic for Saturday. A 4-0 start with some winnable conference games on the schedule will be huge for our chances to extend our season. A loss doesn't end our chances, but it would leave us with little margin for error.

I am looking for our D to step up and for us to score points against Tobacco Purdue. Let's stay healthy and Go IU!

Man I am nervous for this one. We have been in this position before where it looks like we are just about over the hump and then the wheels fall off. If we can win this game I think the corner has been turned. Since it is a road game, I think Wilson plays it a little closer to the vest. We pound the ball and take a few shots, kick our FG's and try to just get out of there with a W.

Just rolled into Winston Salem and cannot wait for kickoff! I agree that this game will go a LONG way toward bowl eligibility.
