Classic lake effect snow day....

White out conditions one minute, sunshine the next. It was literally snowing across the street from me...

Northern Indiana can go to hell ...

Phuck this Canada shit...

Bloomington is the tropics compared to this tundra.

Just got upgraded to a blizzard

Well, there goes the dinner reservations. Dammit Looks like chili and cornbread it is. Oh well, at least the kids will be happy. And yes, it has beans. If you don't like it, you can eat a bag of ........(refer to Louis CK).

Here in Austin it is 77 and sunny.

Went hiking and then enjoyed some beer and lunch outside.

Enjoy the snow.

Just got inside - 11 Degrees now in South Bend

pretty much a ghost town there. Gusty winds and the light snow are
causing significant visibility issues.

If you go outside, better have a 4WD and turn on your headlights.

A snowmobile just went down my street.

Hay FL33....

Would you say Austin is a good city for retirement? Maybe as a part-year residence during the winter. I'm hoping to retire in 8-10 years (would be in my mid-50s). I've never been, but have heard great things. Hoping to visit in the near future, but just curious to hear from a current resident.

About that

bag, you can eat them however you want. Cap might have some thoughts on what works best. Imma have anuthah bowl of CHILI now. vbfg Have a good Sat night, dude.

Not a resident

but my girlfriend is. She wants to move back home near here famiky in Indiana, otherwise I would be more than willing to move down here. This is my 4th time down in the last year, and I love it. Very laid back and outdoors-y. One of the few complaints I have heard was from an eastcoast-er, though, and that they thought it was a little too laid back and hippie-ish.

Definitely worth a visit if you have never been.
