Tamar Bates was great tonight vs Mississippi St. I forgot about Tony Perkins. He played great too.

Tamar MVp in the game, 25 points, 3 for 5 from deep, 5 for 7 from two, and 6 for 6 at the line.

Remember when I told you guys he was a shooter? Remember when you told me he sucked?

Well hey, our main guy 🐜 was 0-2 from the line yesterday. Not critical one and ones or anything. Not like shooting and scoring matters. Just try hard.

I think most of us are glad Tamar figured out how to do these things more consistently. He sure didn't while at IU.

I haven't watched him much at Mizzou. Did he decide to start playing defense? Does he get a rebound every now and then. I do see he still has a negative assist/TO ratio...

Also...no one has ever said Leal is our "main guy". And no one has ever compared the two in terms of shooting and scoring. Anyone that would do that is as dumb as you claim them to be. But again...no one is doing that.

Let me get this straight: Bates has improved greatly. Gunn has improved. Banks has improved. And Tucker will probably average 15 ppg next season somewhere.

I can't find a common thread. Help would be most appreciated.

Yes Woody blows chunks but let's not forget they are all juniors now and lots and lots of kids don't do squat until they mature a little. We could name a ton of guys with the years at IU who didn't contribute much until their jr and sr years.

Woodrow never wanted to put in the time or effort to improve these guys. Just buy some new ones.
