KW said today his thinking right now is Diamont is the better backup QB, but he is thinking they will have Cameron perform mop-up duties.
I don't get this logic. The only way it makes sense to me is if they see Diamont as our future QB and we want to save him. I understand he is small and could use a red-shirt year to bulk up, but we need as much depth as we can get right now (this year). Our 1st backup should be getting as many reps in real games as possible.
Why create a possible log jam in the future at quarterback when we can recruit bigger/more skilled QBs and use Diamont now?
