There were some good games on Saturday, but it wasn't the same without the cream and crimson on the field. We've now got 10 consecutive Saturdays of IU football to look forward to, beginning with the game this weekend against Georgia Southern. The line is IU -22.5. It's a huge, must-win game in our quest for bowl eligibility. GS likes to run the option but, with only a handful of starters back from last year's 5-7 season, they've been struggling. They're 0-2, with losses to Auburn and FCS New Hampshire.

Gotta make sure this one ends up in the "W" column, Hoosiers.

I'd really like to see our running game look a LOT better. They had a week off to heal and get "together," and a game against a team where good technique oughta show and be more effective than against Ahia State and Virginia.

I always worry about an option team. But IF our defense is as sound as we think they are, they oughta have enough experience to not get suckered often.

Execution against underdogs matters.

If they want the running game to improve, they need to stop splitting carries between Ellison and Majette. Ellison is the better runner and it isn't that close.
