Award For Sam Travis

Sam Travis was named on Saturday as the Red Sox Minor League Offensive Player of the Year. He was given his award at the Red Sox game that day and interviewed prior to the game. The sideline reporter interviewed Travis and she mentioned he was a teammate of Schwarber, but never said they went to IU. Travis had a solid season, even if not a lot of power and he should be at Triple A next year.

That's great. However, at IU Travis seemed to be as good a hitter as Schwarber. However, he is still in the low minors. I read where the Red Sox will probably put him in Double A next year. Schwarber will be on the Cubs.

He was in AA this year, he'll be in the big leagues soon!
